Alyssa and Elsa: Creative Project

When I got asked to help create a session for Alyssa, I was beyond excited. After brainstorming, Pinteresting and coming up with some amazing ideas. We finally decided to photograph Alyssa and her beautiful horse Elsa.

I love horses. Rode my first horse when I was young at my Aunt & Uncles. My cousin had a horse named Penny that we would ride together, we eventually went to horse camp together in the summer months. So this session was near to my heart.

Elsa is just the sweetest pony. Loves treats and in order to get her to look towards me, Alyssa’s Mom had to basically do tricks to get Elsa’s undivided attention. She is just so silly and just the sweetest.

Alyssa has such an amazing bond with her. Elsa could be a little hesitate about a few things but she truly trusted Alyssa as we hung out on the beach and even went for a little swim in the South Saskatchewan River.

It was a true honor to capture this amazing friendship that these two have and to capture something that Alyssa it so passionate about.
