Armel + Devan | Laid back in home session

When you meet a couple that compliment one another so well and are just so connected you literally squeal inside.  When Armel contacted me for a couple session, I was beyond stoked.  I've been photographing her fiance, Devan,  for about a year now and Armel has been complimenting  and sharing my posts like crazy, I was like I NEED TO MEET THIS WOMAN!  Devan is a local musician here in Saskatoon. I have photographed him in one of the many bands he is in as well as live at Buds on Broadway.
I was beyond excited to meet her the day they invited me into their home.  They are seriously so laid back, so in tune with one another it just makes my heart sing.  Their home, represents them so well.  Records line the shelf, a sweet little record player sits on an antique chair (Armel loves antique chairs just as much as me) Devan's guitar and just the sweet little apartment vibes you get - it is cozy.... it is home. 

Since these two like to play board games I had them play a game while they chatted about the first time they met, their first date.  Hung out while Devan plucked away at some guitar strings, chatted about the proposal story - which was in Banff, at one of Armel's favorite places, I love all the thought Devan put into it - so much laughter and memories these two have.  Whatever these two decide to do for their wedding  - you know it is going to be one hell of a party, filled with so much love, laughter and yes a live band and these two are going to look amazing!
